Merribelle

There, emerging from the North Sea, is a voluptuous, adorable creature

A beauty with a horse’s head, unrivalled and peerless.

A body that stirs the senses, that moves both heart and soul

Enveloped in love and lust, a symbol that deeply moves the heart.

A sturdy, slender sea mare, her mane smoothed down

Grazing on the sandy prairie, I never tire of looking at her.

A body like a cathedral, crafted by a master’s hand

Secretly stirring, like metal; admiration leaves mouths agape.

Her name is Merribelle, her presence natural

A jeune mademoiselle, a perfect pêle-mêle.
